Now, the Jaguar brand is ready to celebrate this model’s fiftieth anniversary with a special new vehicle that celebrates the long heritage of the Jaguar XJ.
The Jaguar XJ50 is a new model that marks a huge milestone for the Jaguar XJ. This luxury sedan differentiates itself from the standard version of the Jaguar XJ with new bumpers, a black grille, new badges, and 20-inch alloy wheels. Drivers can choose from four colors, including Loire Blue and Fuji White. The Jaguar XJ50 also has some new interior touches, including an “XJ50” logo on the center armrest and diamond-quilted seats. Metal pedals and aluminum shift paddles also show that this model is focused on performance.
Of course, a model like this has to offer some impressive engines as well. So far, we know that drivers will have at least two options to choose from. The supercharged V6 engine puts out 340 horsepower, which is impressive enough on its own, but drivers looking for even more power are also in luck. An available V8 engine delivers 470 horsepower; no drive in this luxury sedan will ever be boring. Drivers can also choose from rear- or all-wheel drive, but the V8 engine is only available in a rear-wheel drive model. We can’t wait to see the 2019 Jaguar XJ50 for ourselves later this year!
