V8 Engines
A bold change has been made to the engines that come with the Jaguar F-TYPE. While last year’s model came with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, the one you’ll find in the 2022 model is just a little bit different.
The base P450 has a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 that pumps out 444 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque. The other option – found in the R model – is also a 5.0-liter V8, but generates 575 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
Impressive Acceleration
By analyzing those engine specs, you know that this new Jaguar has some nice acceleration as well. With either standard rear-wheel drive or available all-wheel drive, the P450 will get you from zero to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds. If you go with the R model and select all-wheel drive, you can go from zero to 60 mph in a thrilling 3.5 seconds.
Fantastic Interior
In addition to performing beautifully, the Jaguar F-TYPE also has an exquisite interior. Aside from extremely comfortable and supportive seats, you’ll get chrome trim and faux-suede accents in the base trim. Upper trims will get embossing, as well as aluminum pieces and seats with heated and ventilated options.
