It’s always fun when news starts leaking out about new car models. If you’ve ever done any research for a next-year vehicle, you might have seen some “spy shots” that show cars covered in unique wrapping.

While car companies don’t want to completely reveal their secrets, they also love the attention that these cars get. A year ago, we were speculating about the 2020 Jaguar E-PACE, and now, we’re focused on the 2021 model, which we are eagerly awaiting here at Jaguar Northfield.

Powertrain

The 2020 Jaguar E-PACE has a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine that generates 246 horsepower. The speculation for this new Jaguar SUV, however, is that it will have a mild hybrid system. While it will also utilize a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, it will be combined with a 48-volt battery to produce 296 horsepower.

Fuel Economy

Because the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE is expected to have a hybrid setup, this means that the gas mileage will be improved. It’s also designed to save fuel by recovering energy while braking, as well as by switching the engine off while coasting when possible.

Interior

Jaguar cars are always known for their opulent interiors, and the 2021 Jaguar E-PACE will be no exception. Leather upholstery comes standard, and the seats will be even more comfortable and supportive than ever. The new model will also get a bigger central touchscreen for the infotainment system, which will measure up to 10.2 inches.
