Rather than treating the cabin as one continuous space, Jaguar uses a dramatic central spine to divide the Type 01 interior into four individual occupant areas. Brass-effect anodized aluminum finishers extend along the cabin, emphasizing its length and creating one of its most distinctive visual elements.
The driver sits low in the cabin for a cosseting, confidence-inspiring position. Materials and colors take inspiration from travertine stone and artisan textiles, combining warm textures with clean, flowing surfaces for a distinctly modern interpretation of luxury.
Technology When You Need It
The Jaguar Type 01 takes a similarly distinctive approach to technology. A single-glass 24-inch OLED Interactive Driver Display sits directly ahead of the driver and operates the new Jaguar Infotainment system. A separate seven-inch, smartphone-style touchscreen between the front occupants keeps frequently used controls within easy reach.
Jaguar also incorporates hidden-until-needed technology and concealed compartments to preserve the cabin’s uncluttered appearance.
