When you look at the 2019 Jaguar XE, it’s easy to think at first glance that there’s not that much to improve. However, Jaguar has taken the 2020 Jaguar XE to a new level of style and innovation with standard LED headlights, and redesigned taillights to match the look of other, newer Jaguar models like the E-PACE. The front bumper has been opened up and acts as a grand stage for the newly-designed and bigger mesh grille, while the rear diffuser has also received an overhaul.
Yet for as entertaining as those may be on the surface, the inside is where the changes for the 2020 Jaguar XE really shine. The option for the InControl Touch Pro Duo brings twin screens to your Jaguar’s center console, which previously only housed a 10-inch touchscreen. Now, a 5-inch screen between the lower dash knobs allows for intuitive and total control of your Jaguar’s functions. Speaking of your Jaguar’s functions, a new, more performance-oriented electric shifter and quality steering wheel have been added to the XE, as well as a driving mode toggle switch to keep shifting from pleasure cruising to performance handling as simple as possible.
