With Pivi Pro, the vehicle automatically checks whether an update has been pushed to it and downloads available software in the background. Once the download is ready to install, a notification appears on the touchscreen, allowing you to learn more and choose whether to update immediately or schedule installation for a better time. Wireless software updates are provided at no additional charge, although installation can take between 30 and 90 minutes depending on the update.
What an Update Can Change
A single release can affect much more than the infotainment screen. Depending on your Jaguar model, model year, and the specific release, an update may provide improvements such as:
